I have always been drawn to the quiet, reduced nature of Minimal Art which has now been replaced by art that is full of stories and moving pictures. Yet while art has lost its laconic qualities, the emotional impact has returned. I now wish for a kind of art which is laconic and emotional at the same time, short and intense, like a friendly greeting. What might that be like? |
